If you are looking for delicious and authentic Italian cuisine than you need to try 400 Gradi. Located in McKinney off Alma Road in District 121, this beautiful restaurant provides an elegant atmosphere and tasty food.
We decided to visit this spot to celebrate a holiday and it offered us an amazing meal and wonderful service. We were able to make a reservation online and upon arrival we were even seated early. The staff gave us exceptional service from the hostess to our waiter and even the bartenders. Since it was our first time here they gave us some time to review the menus and even provide fantastic recommendations for our party.
To start the meal we tried a variety of their creative cocktails such as the spiked limonata made with limoncello and the spicy salami old fashioned. We loved how everything gave a nod to Italian flare and tasted just as great as they sounded. For our appetizers, we shared the traditional beef meatballs and the herb focaccia that was plenty to split amongst our group. Everything had excellent flavor and paired well with our cocktails.
For our main courses we tried a variety of their Neapolitan style pizzas and split a cesar salad that was pilled high with crispy bacon, romaine, and grana Padano cheese. My favorite was the Arrabiata pizza that came with San Marzano tomatoes, For di Latte, caramelized onions, hot salami, a variety of olives, and sweet peppers.
The entire meal was absolutely delicious and there wasn’t a thing on their menu that didn’t sound appetizing. We truly enjoy our entire meal and it would definitely be a place I would return for a dinner out, date night, or special occasion.
