Whether you need a hot spot for your next date night or something classic for a girl’s brunch, I highly recommend checking out Café Modern. Located inside the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, you can find this classy café serving up delicious sustainable sourced food.
I had heard great reviews from friends about this restaurant that I knew I had to check it out for myself. Since we were visiting on the weekend, we decided to grab a reservation online. After parking in their free lot across from the museum we arrived right on time for our reservation. We were seated immediately and they even accommodated us with a request close to the windows. This place feels so upscale and the ambiance and menu both reflect that.
Since we were celebrating a special occasion we decided to split a carafe of their limoncello mimosas that were the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. While we enjoyed our bubbles we took some time to explore their unique menu and the beautiful scenery of the water and patio area. We ultimately all decided on the Caesar Wedge Salad that came beautifully presented with baby gem lettuce, parmesan, herb bread crumble, sun-dried tomatoes, and a creamy Caesar dressing. The food and drinks were both delicious, but the main star of our meal was the dessert which was a lemon blueberry tarte that was on special for the day. The creamy filling was a perfect way to end the meal and a great bite to split.
While the restaurant prices are on the higher end, we absolutely loved the atmosphere and flavor profiles that can be found at the Modern. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a night out or a weekend brunch.
