Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, San Martin Bakery and Restaurant in Dallas has you covered. When you are in the Uptown area I highly recommend heading over to McKinney Ave to check out this Guatemalan restaurant that is perfect whether you are looking to enjoy a meal or grab takeout from their bakery.
The inside of this beautiful restaurant has a light and airy atmosphere that transfers you outside of the hustle and bustle of Dallas city limits. With plenty of seating inside or outside it’s a great place to stop by when dining with friends or just wanting to enjoy some solo time during the work day.
We had passed by this place several times, but knew we had to check it out for ourselves. While we weren’t in the mood for a full meal, looking over their menu sounded truly delicious for brunch or a fancier dinner. Though their prices were fairly affordable for the amount of food we saw being served in their restaurant. We instead opted for grabbing a treat from their bakery and were blown away by the amount of options.
It was hard to pick a favorite as they had something for everyone from fresh baked bread to sweet croissants their variety was packed. The smell inside was droolworthy and after looking at all of the options in the clear glass cases we ultimately decided on a chocolate croissant and croissant role. It was hard to pick our favorite as they both had delicious flakey and buttery crusts that paired well with the velvety chocolate flavor.
I know I will be coming back soon as I would like to enjoy a meal here or even grab a coffee to go. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to rave about their food and if its anything like their pastries I know I am in for a treat.
