The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is surprisingly full of green spaces and outdoor trails. You don’t have to travel far to enjoy being outside, whether you’re visiting a walking / biking trail, a park, or a garden. There are plenty of options within DFW.
One of my favorite places to be outside in is the Grapevine Botanical Garden, which you can enjoy alone, with friends, a partner, or your family. Admission is free and it’s a delight to be outside, reset, and clear your mind.
This tranquil garden has sitting areas, multiple walking paths, and a koi pond for spotting. The west end of the garden has picnic tables, as well as the Bessie Mitchell House patio.
The Grapevine Botanical Garden is also the perfect place to have photos taken, including family photos and senior photos. I took some adorable pictures here with my dog once!
