New World Gaming is one of my favorite third places in DFW. They’re a local gaming store in Little Elm, carrying board games, collectible card games, and miniature tabletop games. Their selection ranges from mainstream hits to smaller, indie picks. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or a loved one, New World Gaming has a unique selection of games that no other store in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
If you’re new to board games, don’t fret. The store personally curates a selection of recommended games for you to check out, from puzzle games like Azul to competitive games like Sweet Mess and resource management games like Moorland.
The store categorizes games based on genre, as well as whether they’re single or multi-player. The staff are incredibly friendly so don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations or pointers!
One of my favorite things about New World Gaming is that they have tables set up for you to play whatever board or card game you choose. It’s a great place to spend time with your friends instead of gaming at home for a change.
