Main Street Bistro & Bakery

If you are craving coffee or a sweet treat then checking out Main Street Bistro & Bakery should be a must on your list. Located off Main Street in historic downtown Grapevine this French inspired bakery is serving up delicious cakes, tarts, croissants, and more.

When I first passed this place I didn’t realize it was more than just a bakery as it is connect to Chez Fabian Bistro, a delicious French inspired restaurant. They have a beautiful patio area on Main Street that overlooks the beautiful district and is a great place to dine alfresco. While we didn’t have time for a full meal, it will definitely be a place I hope to enjoy in the future, as the bakery side of things was truly delicious.

They have so much to choose from on their menu and it was hard to pick just one thing as everything looked delicious. Baked fresh daily, you are sure to enjoy anything on their menu, but after taking a look at the items in the case we ultimately decided on one of their fruit tarts. The enjoy with our sweet bite we grabbed an iced americano with some of their seasonal peppermint syrup and a sweety and chocolate hot mocha that is available year round.

While both the café and restaurant were quite busy, our drinks were ready fairy quickly. We both loved the bold espresso that was used for our beverages as it paired well with the sweet cream of the tart and fresh flavors from the fruit of blueberries, raspberry, kiwi, and strawberry. The tart held together well and was a great sweet treat to enjoy.

I thought the prices of their products was fair and well worth it for how wonderful everything tasted. It was such a great experience and I look forward to returning soon to dine at the restaurant or try out more of the delicious bakery items.
