Son of a Butcher

If you are looking for just a small bite or wanting a place that serves up variety, look no further for your next meal out than Son of a Butcher. Located in both Dallas, Grapevine, Alliance, and Plano this spot is known for their tasty sliders and sides. Recently I had the chance to check them out in Grapevine which has a convenient location right off State Highway 114. Whether you are in the area for some shopping or just passing through on your way to Dallas or Fort Worth I highly recommend giving them a try.

Upon arriving to the restaurant you will find ample parking and plenty of seating both outside on the patio or indoors. Their menu offers great meal options whether you are looking to try just a bite or wanting to feed a crowd with their easy and convenient catering options. Since we were grabbing food to go for a party, we opted for the catering packs were you can choose your slider options that are conveniently packaged in sleeves making transport easy.

When it comes to their sliders, there is no limit on the flavors whether you are hoping for something traditional or something more exotic. They also have you covered if you are not a fan of beef or strictly stick to veggies. After looking over their menu we ultimately decided on the classic and the Nashville hot.

The classic is exactly what you might expect but elevated with wagyu beef patties, a buttered toasted bun, comeback sauce, American cheese and pickles. While the Nashville hot was topped with their spicy hot fried chicken, pimento cheese, hot sauce, and pickles. While both sliders were delicious and filling, my favorite happened to be the Nashville hot as I love spicy foods and this exceeded my expectations.

Everyone in our group commented on how delicious the food was and that it traveled well outside the restaurant. So whether you want to eat there or grab some sleeves for your next event you can expect delicious food from the grill to your plate. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning soon to try out some of their other flavorful sliders, their crispy sides, and even a boozy milkshake to complete my meal.
