Denton is packed with third spaces, from pool halls and dartboards to bars and even burlesque and drag shows. I recently visited Anderson’s Eatery and Distillery for drinks and dinner. To my surprise, they host Drag Bingo on Thursdays, with drag shows on select Fridays!
A beautiful drag queen read the bingo numbers while the DJ filled the outdoor space with music. My wife won a $5 off food credit while playing bingo!
We enjoyed some seasonal drinks, including a gingerbread dessert drink and an Earl Grey martini!
For dinner, we wolfed down some gluten free barbecue wings, as well as gluten free loaded nachos with bacon, sour cream, and green onions, which were amazing!
Our tab was not expensive at all, especially since Anderson’s has more than one happy hour per day, including Fridays from 9-11 PM!
