Finding an authentic Italian restaurant experience that won’t break the bank is tough, but what if I told you I found an Italian restaurant that’s more authentic than Olive Garden and more affordable?
I drove by this hidden gem in Dallas called Two Guys From Italy. The name intrigued me so I decided to investigate further. Their man pasta dishes range from $10-$12. The lovely part is they have gluten free pasta for just $1.95 more, still leaving you under the $15 mark. We ordered buttered pasta and also spaghetti with meatballs (which is actually penne with meatballs when you order it gluten free).
The signature and seafood pasta dishes are all going to run you under $20 per dish. We ordered two entrees, which came with a side of soup or salad, and a tiramisu for dessert, and our bill came out to $30.63. I could not believe my eyes.
The food was delicious and authentic, the service was wonderful, and the pricing is the icing on the cake. Not to mention that the restaurant is also sensory friendly with its dim lighting and quiet atmosphere. We were surrounded by patrons but we couldn’t hear them at all.
