Watters Creek in Allen is boasting with hidden gems. I’m constantly discovering new stores at this shopping plaza. I recently had an amazing matcha with crepes over at Frogg Coffee Bar. This time, I passed by Joy Macarons, a delicious dessert shop with ice cream, shakes, and of course, macarons!
To my surprise, everything at this dessert joint is 100% gluten free, including the macarons and ice cream sandwiches! They have an almost overwhelming amount of macaron options. My favorites were the honey and lavender, cookie dough, snicker doodle, and Italian cream.
The ice cream sandwiches selection covers a nice variety without being overwhelming. I’ve enjoyed the cookies and cream sandwich in the past. This time, I tried the white chocolate raspberry and key lime pie sandwiches which were both exquisite!
