Zorba’s

When looking for authentic Greek cuisine look no further than Zorba’s. Located in Plano off Presto Road this place boasts about transforming you to Greece without even needing your passport.

When walking in you will immediately be impressed by the amount of awards they have received from D Magazine, the Dallas Morning News, and more. After tasting their food and experiencing their wonderful hospitality, you will know why. We had never been before, but decided to give them a try after shopping in the area. Though small on the outside they have a large dinning room area and plenty of friendly servers ready to assist you. Their menu was hard to pick from as everything sounded great and we saw plenty of Greek favorites to choose from.

To start off our meal we grabbed their Dolmades that were filled with a beef a rice mixture wrapped in grape leaves and served with a tasty and tangy lemon sauce. You also can’t go wrong with fried cheese so we had to get a flaming saganaki that is sure to be a spectacular show. Everything we ordered had such great flavor and was the perfect way to start off our meal.

For entrees we tried the chicken souvlaki that was served with a small salad and delicious baked Greek potatoes. We also grabbed a gyros salad and the Grecian chicken that was roasted in olive oil and oregano end enough food to serve multiple people. All of us enjoyed our choices and felt completely full after our meal. Everything was well worth the price we paid and had us feeling like we were on a trip in Greece. I would highly recommend dining here and loved the experience. I know I will be heading back soon to try more of their menu items.
