What do you get when you mix the endless options of buffet and the ultimate Brazilian steakhouse dining experience? It has to be Delucca Gaucho Pizza. Located in several locations across the metroplex this all you can eat pizza place that is churrascaria-style is the perfect place to dine when looking for something delicious and fun. We recently visited the Dallas location off Oak Lawn Avenue and we are already planning our next visit back.
This location is open daily for dinner service and if you plan to visit on the weekend, I would highly recommend making a reservation. We luckily came during the week and were able to easily get a table and had the best service starting with our gracious hostess to our delightful server. Each meal starts off with three appetizers of wagyu beef meatballs with a tomato sauce, arugula salad with a lemon honey vinaigrette, and lobster bisque. Everything had such wonderful flavor, but don’t get too stuffed as the main course of endless pizza is not to be missed.
For the main event you will receive a wide selection of their featured and signature pizzas that are brought to you tableside. You can pick your slices while the waiters walk around the restaurant or decline if the flavors are not what you are looking for. Similar to a Brazilian steakhouse you have a card on your table that you flip to tell the waitstaff if you are ready for more pizza or wanting to work on what you have on your plate. I loved the variety of pizzas they offered from Turkish lamb to cupping pepperoni! My favorites of the night was their four cheese and truffle and their calabrese sausage.
After you have enjoyed your fill of savory options, you will be presented with four dessert style pizzas to end your meal. Everything we had was delicious and it was such a fun way to try different styles of pizza. We also loved that for the experience it was a prefix price of $25.95 and we felt well worth the money for the amount of food we received and the quality of the ingredients used for the dishes. To end our meal we also took advantage of their Monday happy hour cocktails. My favorite was their Raspberry Lemon Drop while my friends enjoyed their Maple Old Fashioneds.
Everything about our experience from the service to the food was delightful. We already looked forward to returning soon for delicious food and a wonderful ambiance that is perfect for a date night or a dinner out with friends.
