Visiting on the weekend this downtown area gets quite busy, but there is so much to explore. There are several parking lots located around the businesses and neighborhood street parking. A pro tip is to park a couple blocks away before entering downtown, to grab a great spot and avoid the heavy traffic.
Walking around the area you will definitely get you steps as there is plenty to see and do. We loved getting to explore local shops and check out the different restaurants they had to offer. If you get tired, they also offer a downtown trolley that is complementary and available from 11am to 7pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You can find several stops on the trolley and even a map located through the downtown square.
This area also hosts lots of great local events such as the Bubbles and Brunch Wine Walk or the Texas Music Revolution, you are sure to find something special to enjoy on the weekends.
