Avoca Coffee Roasters

When you’re thinking of a coffee shop that puts the funk in funky town, Avoca Coffee Roasters may be your first thought. Located in Fort Worth off the popular Magnolia Avenue you will find this eccentric spot that is serving up freshly roasted coffee daily.

From the bathroom walls covered in old comics to the wide selection of artisanal style drinks I knew I had found a great spot. Visiting on the weekday the shop was packed with people enjoying their drinks in their variety of seating options from tables to couches. Since it was my first time I took a few moments to explore their menu and received great recommendations from the barista assisting me. I finally decided on The Magnolia which featured their extra strength cold brew with vanilla syrup and a splash of milk.

While I waited for my beverage to be made, I grabbed a table nearby so I could get started on my work day. After only a short wait my drink was ready for me to enjoy. This beverage was the perfect mix of sweet and strong, which is exactly what I was looking for. The price I paid was well worth the beverage I received and I enjoyed my time inside the café.

Since the beans were so fresh, I decided to grab a bag of their single origin beans to enjoy at home. I loved that each batch is roasted locally in Fort Worth and you could truly taste the difference in each brew whether you were enjoying in the café or at home. I was also impressed to learn that they sell their beans at several locations so they are easy to find when you are out and about. I would highly recommend Avoca to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee or someone looking for a perfect new café.
