Old Texas Brewing Co

Finding the perfect spot with plenty of tvs, great food, and delicious brews can be tough. Well I have great news for you as I recently visited Old Texas Brewing Co and it offers all of the above and more. Perfectly located off Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth this spot is a great place to enjoy a game and bite to eat whether you are visiting on the weekday or weekend.

We decided to check this spot on a Sunday to catch some games and enjoy a beautiful sunny day. The restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating and were able to seat us right away. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that they offered a Sunday Happy Hour for discounted prices on domestics, bloody marys, mimosa, and flavored house margaritas which I knew I had to try. I absolutely loved the sweet and tangy flavor of their strawberry margarita and my partner enjoyed a cold domestic that was perfect for game day.

Since we mainly came to enjoy some drinks and the plethora of TVs, we weren’t in the mood for a large dinner but opted to try a couple of orders of their southern fried pickles. These tasty discs were fried to perfection and paired nicely with their creamy homemade ranch. Though we didn’t have a big appetite, we loved that their menu offered such large variety from soups and salads, sandwiches, tex mex, and even pastas. It was the perfect place whether you were visiting as just a couple or a large group and had options to fit every appetite.

Our server was very attentive and great with both recommendations and any questions we had. We absolutely loved the atmosphere here and hope to return soon whether it’s a date night or catching some live sports action.
