Olives Mediterranean Grill

As someone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised to learn about Olives Mediterranean Grill located right here in Arlington Texas. Located off Randol Mill Road this cozy and artfully designed restaurant is serving up delicious made to order food free of preservatives and made from locally farmed ingredients.

I had received a recommendation from a friend of mine and knew I had to check it out. Walking inside I felt like I was dining at someone’s home with their cozy atmosphere and delicate design. Their menu offered many traditional favorites whether you were hoping for something vegetable or meat forward. Since it was our first time we decided to try a variety of food including their hummus, feta and olive plate, and vegan falafel to start.

We loved that the appetizer portions were perfect to share amongst friends and we loved the flavor of everything we received. For lunch we both grabbed their gyro lunch platter that came piled high with fresh gyro meat, pita bread, and our choice of two sides. For my lunch I wanted to try their Greek salad that was fresh and delicious paired with their yellow rice that had such great flavor. Amongst everything we tried it was hard to pick a favorite dish of the day.

Since everything is made to order, I would highly recommend coming when you are not in a rush and you can enjoy the Mediterranean style of dining that focuses on great flavor, relaxation, and enjoying the company of others during your meal. Everything we ordered was truly fantastic and we were pleasantly surprised by their affordable prices. The hospitality from the wait staff was also great and we look forward to dining here again soon.
