If you are looking for the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors, look no further than the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Located off Garland Road, this spot is located in East Dallas and a great spot for epic views of White Rock Lake.
We’ve been several times and always enjoy walking through their beautiful gardens and exhibits. With over 66 acres of botanical gardens there is so much to see and you can easily spend hours here. To visit the gardens you can purchase your tickets online or at the entrance. I highly recommend coming early and during a week day if you can to avoid large crowds and to try and beat the Texas heat.
Once inside you can enjoy exploring the grounds and the multitude of different gardens which offer signature flowers, trees and more. The Arboretum is one of my personal favorite spots to visit as they always have something new and feature different events throughout the year. It is also a beautiful spot to take photos whether you want a selfie to remember the day or needing professional photography.
After walking through each garden you are sure to work up an appetite. They have you covered on that front as well with several different restaurants onsite, or you can enjoy your own picnic lunch on the lawn overlooking the lake. No matter if you are a local or visitor you are sure to love enjoying this beautiful space year round.
