Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast or someone just looking to enjoy the sunshine now that summer has officially kicked off in DFW, there is no better place to shop for outdoor gear than Bass Pro Shop. Newly opened in Grand Prairie near the EPIC, this expansive store is known for their large selection of hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear.

I had never been before, but was in need of a gift for a friend so I decided to stop by. This location was conveniently located off State Highway 161 and offered ample parking. Going during the week it felt like I had the entire store to myself. It was overwhelming at first because the store is quite large, but it had a clean layout and super friendly staff that are ready to answer any questions. I started off my journey heading to the camping section to pick up a few items that I knew my friend would appreciate for their upcoming trip. They had so many different items to choose from and great prices that fit my budget.

In addition to the wilderness themed items, I was also able to check out some workout gear for myself and I was very impressed with the merchandise selection and availability of different sizes, prices, and styles. The store layout made it easy to flow between different sections and find exactly what I needed.

I would highly recommend this location to anyone who is looking to enjoy the great outdoors! Whether you are wanting to enjoy some time on the water or connect with nature on land, this store has something for everyone!
