Now that it is summer in DFW, it’s time to enjoy the warm weather and much needed time off work. If you are close to Grand Prairie, I highly recommend checking out Epic Central Park that is beautifully landscaped and conveniently located off South State Highway 161.
I am lucky enough to live close to the area and often find myself returning to the area when I’m craving connecting with nature. The Epic is full of beautiful scenery from the variety of trails to the large pond you will truly enjoy the calming atmosphere. This place is also packed with activities for all ages with a variety of restaurants, picnic tables, indoor waterpark, dog park, and even a large playground and green space for kids.
My favorite time to visit the Epic is in the early mornings when it is less crowded and less hot from the summer heat. The area is perfectly serene and a great place to walk my dog and get some exercise while enjoying my surroundings. This place is a favorite for my family whether we want to enjoy the greenspace or check out a new restaurant, you will always find something happening at the Epic!
