If you have a sweet tooth, then you must visit J J Donut Shop next time you are in Grand Prairie. Located right off State Highway 161 it might be easy to miss this hidden gem, but if you are lucky enough to stop you will know why this place is a favorite for local and visitors alike.

I stumbled upon this donut shop while on my way to the office and decided to stop in for some treats. Upon walking in I was greeted by the friendly associate behind the counter and the delicious smells of sugar and dough. Since it was morning time the case was still full of delicious goodies, but I would highly recommend arriving early to make sure you can select your favorites.

They had so much different options whether you were hoping for traditional glazed or sprinkled to filled strawberry cream, maple bar, and more. Everything looked so good that it was hard to pick a favorite! Since I was bringing donuts for a group I decided on their mixed dozen and let the associate pick out a variety for me which came out to just under $20.

I received a ton of compliments from my work team on how great everything tasted and we loved that everything was made that morning make sure it was fresh and tasty. Another great reason to visit this shop is that if you aren’t craving a sweet breakfast treat, they also had several types of muffins, sausage rolls, and breakfast sandwiches. To complete your meal you can also grab a cool beverage from the case or a hot freshly made coffee to wash down your delectable bites. You can be sure that whatever you choose will be great tasting and have you satisfied throughout your morning.
