This funky coffee joint that started it’s roots in Austin has landed in Dallas. Known as Houndstooth Coffee this no frills spot is serving up bold flavors off North Central Expressway.
The quaint atmosphere is perfect for grabbing a quiet spot to enjoy a cup of joe or get some work done away from home. It was my first time here, but I decided to try them out when craving a pick-me-up while shopping in the area. The space offered plenty of indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy. Their counter service is small and the menu is pretty basic, but it was easy to find exactly what I was looking for. I ordered my ice americano and grabbed a seat at the bar.
After only a short wait, my drink was ready to enjoy! The espresso taste was spicy and bold and was the perfect energy shot to get me through my day. While I wasn’t in the mood for food, the pastries inside the case looked delicious and would be a perfect compliment to the drinks offered.
