While you have plenty of dining options when it comes to visiting downtown Grapevine, I highly recommend checking out Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano next time you are in town. Located off Worth Street, this converted historic house turned restaurant is a fun and delicious spot to enjoy some Tex-Mex eats.
Their lively atmosphere and beautiful décor immediately attracts visitors, but the food and service were the true standouts for our group. We decided to dine here after hearing recommendations from a friend and were impressed with the experience. Our group was quickly seated for lunch during the week and our server was friendly and great with answering questions we had regarding the menu and some dietary restrictions. Our meal started off with their crispy chips and a delicious red salsa that was flavorful but not too spicy. Since we were pretty hungry, we decided to place our orders quickly after settling in and after a short wait everything was delivered to our table hot and fresh.
Everyone in our group raved about their lunch as we enjoyed a variety of Mexican favorites. From smothered chicken enchiladas, traditional beef tacos, tortilla soup and more there wasn’t a bad dish in the house. My personal favorite was the taquito lunch that was served with refried beans, a flavorful Mexican rice, sour cream, pico and guac. It was a truly filling meal and well worth the affordable prices we paid. We loved this spot for lunch and would recommend to anyone visiting the Grapevine area.
