Village Burger Bar

Looking for a delicious bite to eat in West Village? Then look no further than Village Burger Bar. While there are a few locations spread across the Metroplex, I recently had the chance to visit their restaurant off McKinney Avenue.

This spot is great whether you are dining alone or meeting up with a group of friends. Their menu is packed with as you can guess, burgers, but also offers different types of paninis, salads, shakes and even a bar!

We came on a Saturday afternoon and while it was busy, the staff that day were extremely friendly and we were served rather quickly. The restaurant itself offers several seating options such as the bar, inside tables, and a quaint patio area that is perfect for fall and winter weather. Since it was still warm outside, we opted for inside seating after we placed our order at the counter.

We were impressed by the variety of bar style foods they offered and the delicious sounding combinations of burgers and sandwiches. Since we were in the mood for something a little lighter, we decided on chicken pesto panini and sweet potato fries to split. Our order was the perfect amount of food and we couldn’t believe the delicious flavors from the sandwich that was pilled high with roasted chicken, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, and a basil mayo. It was the perfect summertime meal.

To wash down our food we each tried a Moscow mule from the bar that was the perfect mix of sweet and spicy from the ginger beer and fresh squeezed lime juice. We loved our meal here and the beautiful atmosphere accompanied by their delightful staff. This is sure to be a new spot on our list when we are in the West Village area.
