Barro’s Pizza

Got a craving for pizza but can’t decide between thick or thin crust? Then you are in luck because you can get both and more at Barro’s Pizza. Located in McKinney off S Central Expressway in the Eldorado Plaza you will find this exciting joint that offers a pizza everyone will enjoy.

We where in the area and decided to give them a try after seeing their high google reviews. We loved that their space was large enough for our group and offered a variety of different food and beverage options. Since it was a weekday we were able to take advantage of their lunch specials that are available daily from 10:30am-3pm. I was shocked that everything was under $10 and the perfect option for a budget meal.

While the prices were low, the service and taste were quite high for what we received. I decided to split a meal with a friend and we got the two slices, small salad, and drink combo. We were both able to select a pizza slice with toppings of our choice and the small salad was large enough to split amongst the two of us. I chose the traditional cheese will my friend opted for the pepperoni that was pilled high. The slices were a decent size and baked on their thicker crust which made it perfect for enjoying a single slice. The salad was fresh tasting and loaded with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, croutons and a mix of iceberg and romaine lettuce. It was the perfect combo for a delicious lunch that had us feeling so satisfied.

The dining atmosphere was nice and felt like we were at a local sports bar with several TVs that would be perfect for a game day outing. The service was fast and we loved that we were able to order from their counter and our food was served quickly after. It was a great lunch option for us and we enjoyed our experience so much that we traveled back to Barros a few days later to try their thin crust pizza. Everything we ordered on both experiences was delicious and I look forward to dining or taking out here again!
