As a lover of Mediterranean food, I am so happy to share a hidden gem you may not know about in the Arlington area. Prince Lebanese Grill is a favorite of mine and located close to the action of the entertainment district off Randol Mill Road. Known for their grilled meat and wonderful hospitality you are sure to love this family owned join that has been around since 1989.
When you first pull up you may have a tough time finding parking, but know that once inside you are going to be so happy you stayed. A favorite of many in the community and even famous enough to appear on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Princes is a pillar in the community and the perfect spot to visit for lunch or dinner. Their menu is vast with options soups, salads, wraps, and plates. While everything on the menu sounds good, my tried and true favorite is always their shawarma plate.
This dish comes with your choice of meat or vegetarian option that is pilled high on vermicelli rice with a side of their zesty tzatziki sauce, grilled pita, and choice of side. I always choose their spicy chicken that packs the perfect amount of heat without being too overwhelming to enjoy. To cool down the meal I get the regular humas that is made fresh daily and is the perfect complement to the warm chicken. There is always plenty of food for me to enjoy both at the restaurant and to take home for leftovers and I know I can always expect a tasty dish and wonderful service at each visit. This place is always a favorite of mine whether I am dining in or carrying out and would recommend to anyone who enjoys traditional Mediterranean flavors.
