HOUSE OF ALBA THE SALON

Finding someone you can trust with your hair can be hard. Whether there are too many choices, too high of pricing, or a bad experience that doesn’t make you want to return to a salon, I have been through it all. That is why I am so happy that I recently found House of Alba the Salon. Located in McKinney in the Eldorado Plaza off South Central Expressway.

I had never been before, but saw their great reviews online and decided to give them a try while I was in the area. I was in need of a blowout for an event and thought this would be a great opportunity to test out the salon for my future hair needs. It was easy enough to reserve an appointment online by selecting my service and the stylist of my choice. A few days prior I received a confirmation of my appointment.

The day of I showed up a few minutes prior to my time and was instantly greeted by their friendly team. The beautiful space was clean, peaceful and well decorated that made me feel welcome and right at home. My stylist Brooklyn was so sweet and welcoming and quickly got me seated at her station. Before even starting the service, she walked through my hair goals and got my inspiration photos for the style I was hoping to achieve. From there we walked back to the hair wash station and my relaxation began.

The entire time she made me feel super comfortable and the wash felt truly luxurious. I loved that she explained each product to me and made sure to check in to make sure I was ok. We chatted like we were friends and I loved that I felt right at home. From there she blew dry my hair and helped me to achieve the style I was looking for. I truly felt and looked my best and enjoyed the entire service. It never felt rushed and was such a pampering experience for a great price that was well worth the service. I loved my experience here and will definitely be retuning soon for a cut and any additional hair needs.
