Looking for the perfect place to get in the Christmas spirit? Then look no further than the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. Located in the Christmas capital of Texas known as Grapevine, you will find this large resort that offers more than just a beautiful place to stay. Whether you are looking for a staycation for the holidays or want to enjoy the amazing experiences, I would highly recommend adding this to your Christmas bucket list.
We decided to visit for their ICE signature holiday attraction. It was easy enough to purchase tickets online and even grab a great deal before heading to the resort. Since this is a luxury hotel we did have to pay an additional parking fee onsite, but once stepping into the resort you will feel transported to a new world. We loved how everything was beautifully decorated and all the attention to detail. The ICE exhibit featured scenes from the movie Elf and was such a fun way to get in the holiday spirit with our family. There was several photo op stations, slides, and sculptures made from lots of you guessed it, ice.
After visiting the exhibit we took some time to explore the hotel that was truly magnificent. There is so much to do during the holiday season and would highly recommend to anyone looking for family friendly activities or someone wanting to have a memorable date night.
