From a beautiful walking trail to a variety of restaurants and even an outdoor concert venue, the Cypress Waters Trail has much to offer the Coppell area. When looking for a place to enjoy the outdoors during winter break, a friend of mine suggested meeting at Cypress Waters to enjoy some beautiful scenery and lively environment. I had never been before, but know now that it is sure to be a new favorite of mine.
The trail itself is gorgeous and offers something for everyone whether you are looking to get some steps in, enjoy the beautiful water art installations sitting on one of the many benches or outdoor dining areas, or even bringing your furry friend to play at their small dog park. Being a weekday, I almost felt like we had the place to ourselves, and I enjoyed getting to walk along the trail and take in the gorgeous views. The park and trail were extremely clean, and there were several stations for trash, dog bags, and even a lovely public restroom. We saw several different wildlife animals during our walk and got plenty of steps as the entire loop is around 6 miles. It was a great spot to enjoy the afternoon and we look forward to returning soon.
