Whether you are a lover of Indian food or just want to experience bold flavors in the kitchen, then a visit to Patel Brothers is a must. Located in Irving in the MacArthur Marketplace off Walton Blvd, you will find this large specialty grocery store that sells a variety of products from fresh groceries to unique spices, home goods, and even beauty products. While some make look familiar other items can be quiet foreign, but the variety of goods is unmatched.

I decided to check out this large marketplace when I was in need of different spices for a new recipe. I knew that I could find some things at my traditional grocery store but knew I wanted to give Patel Brothers a try for an all-in-one shopping experience. This store was easy to find and located conveniently close to several major highways. The parking lot is huge and inside I felt like I was transported to a different country. The store was very clean and well laid out by item type whether you were looking for fresh, frozen, or shelf stable items. They even had a fresh bakery that offered lots of sweet and savory items prepared and ready to enjoy.

I felt like I was on a treasure hunt and took my time to look through each aisle. While some items may be new to me, I appreciated the easily legible signs that shared the item type and price in English. The store was massive, and I was able to find everything on my list for all fair pricing for such unique items. I couldn’t wait to check out and get home to cooking with my new finds and thought that the quality of everything I got matched with what it was being sold for. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Indian goods.
