One of my favorite pastimes is finding a great local coffee shop and recently I came across Baklava Bakery & Coffee Co while in the area. Located in the Dalworthington Gardens area near Pantengo you will find this cozy coffee spot open 6 days a week.
This spot was tucked away inside a shopping center off Arkansas Lane, but I’m so happy I decided to give them a try. I was heading to a work event and knew I needed some caffeine to help fuel me for the day. I found this spot on Google and after reading their highly rated reviews I knew I had to give them a try. The inside of the cafe was bright and clean with a large menu of drinks ranging from coffee to matcha and a full pastry case with freshly baked goodies.
There was a short time when I arrived, but knew this meant this spot was a favorite amongst locals and that I was in good hands. After looking over their menu, I chose a traditional hot americano with some of their hazelnut syrup. Though it was hard to choose from their menu as everything sounded so tasty, including their seasonal drinks that were perfect for the winter holiday season.
While I waited for my drink to be made I was able to grab a seat inside their cafe and enjoy the light music and comfortable atmosphere. After only about 5 minutes the friendly barista brought out my drink to me, and I was ready to enjoy. The flavors from the syrup and espresso beans were great and just what I needed to get me through my day. I absolutely loved the amazing service and the pricing for a specialty coffee shop was affordable compared to some of their competitors. It was such a great experience, and I look forward to returning soon for some more delicious coffee and to try out a pastry on my next visit.
