Looking for the perfect date night spot? Then you need to visit Parigi Restaurant located in the Uptown area of Dallas right off Oak Lawn Avenue. This quaint restaurant will have you feel like you are dining at a Parisian cafe with its cozy atmosphere and delightful French flavors.
This woman owned restaurant is a favorite of ours for when we are looking to celebrate a special occasion or just looking for a delicious meal. The service is always high class and with amazing food it always makes for a great experience. Since the restaurant isn’t huge, I would highly recommend getting a reservation, especially if you are looking to dine on a weekend or evening. On our most recent experience we decided to celebrate a birthday here and it lived up to our expectations.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, a table had been reserved for our party. We all started off with a round of cocktails ranging from their frozen special of Peach and Strawberry Daiquiri, glasses of crisp Fleur Prosecco, and a Pomegranate Gimlet that was the perfect mix of sweet and tart. After we cheered to our celebration, we ordered a selection of their appetizers that all sounded too good not to try. In addition to their standard menu, you can always find a few specials for several items that are created by the chef based on seasonal produce. While most of us stuck to the main menu on this occasion, we had a few people in our party choose their special risotto for their main meal.
While we were waiting for our mains to be prepared, we enjoyed our appetizers of Piquillo Peppers that are stuffed with goat cheese, pesto and roasted pinenuts, the crab dip that was creamy and buttery with lump crab, parmesan cheese and topped with breadcrumbs that are served with crispy banquettes, and a trio of pesto dip, sundried tomatoes, and marinated olives. It was hard to choose a favorite amongst the bunch as everything had such excellent flavor.
Finally, it was time to enjoy the mains. I wanted to try their standard Jacob’s Burger that was cooked to my liking and topped with fresh tomato, lettuce, crispy bacon, and melty cheddar cheese served with their signature frittes. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and there wasn’t a complaint amongst us. Our server was great about checking in with us throughout the meal and making sure that we had everything we needed. To round out the meal we were served a slice of their chocolate melty cake and peach cobbler with a beautiful sparkler to help us celebrate the birthday girl. This was the perfect spot for our celebration and I look forward to returning soon!
