If you are a Harry Potter Fan than you need to make your way out to Harry Potter: The Exhibition Dallas before it departs for its next city in April. Looking off Preston Road you will find this large scale exhibit that offers a unique fan experience perfect for kids or adults.
We decided to visit after hearing about it from friends and knowing it would make the perfect indoor activity to enjoy while staying away from the cold winter weather. It was easy enough to purchase tickets online for the selected date we wanted to attend. If you are able to go on a weekday, the tickets are slightly cheaper than a weekend experience and you can expect less crowds. This was perfect for us as it allowed us plenty of time to explore each section of the exhibit without being rushed. If you are looking for a completely kid free experience, you can also purchase tickets to their special after-hour event that includes a complimentary cocktail or mocktail with ticket purchase and is for those that are 18 or older.
Upon arrival there was plenty of parking and the check-in process was seamless since we purchased our tickets in advance. Walking through the doors feels like you have walked into Hogwarts, and we were instantly impressed with the immersive experience. There is so much to see from costumes used in the movies to replica sets that will have you feel like you are onset. There was no detail that wasn’t missed. Whether you are a big or casual fan, the experience was enjoyable for all and we loved it. I would highly recommend visiting this experience and would return again in the future.
