Are you a remote worker that wants a space to get out of your home office? Need a place to collaborate with team members that isn’t your stale office conference room? Just want a great cup of coffee from a small business? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to check out Fort Worth Coffee Co. This co-working coffee space located off Camp Bowie Boulevard is sure to be a new favorite spot of yours if you are a remote worker like me.
This was my first time visiting here, but once I had my first experience, I knew I would be returning. My map directions initially took me to their back parking lot, which can be confusing when you first pull-up. If it wasn’t their ample signage that directed me to the front doors, I may have thought I was in the wrong place. Though there is more parking in the back and off the side streets, once you enter through the back area it will guide you through the coworking spaces they offer that include single office desks or smaller conference rooms that are great for collaborating with coworkers, friends or clients.
After snaking my way through the back, you will walk right into the cozy coffee shop that was bustling with energy. I grabbed a spot in line and while it moved quickly gave me some time to look over their menu. They had pretty standard offerings whether you were looking for a hot latte, bold cold brew, or fresh brewed tea in a variety of flavors. I knew I needed something warm to combat the cool day, so I opted for their latte with 2% milk and their lavender syrup. The shop was pretty busy so while I waited for the barista to handcraft my drink, I grabbed a seat inside the cafe and got straight to work. The atmosphere in the cafe is warm and inviting with plenty of natural light and good wifi speed. I could tell this spot was a favorite in the community, and it was pretty busy. Once my name was called, I grabbed my drink from the counter and after my first sip I was hooked. The syrup had a sweet floral flavor and paired nicely with their bold espresso and made the perfect mid-day pick me up. I loved that the staff wasn’t pushy, and I was able to sit for a few hours to enjoy my drink while tackling some projects for work. I would highly recommend this spot and definitely visit again when I am in the area.
