Finding a burger to munch on is extremely easy in Texas, with options everywhere you turn. The hard part is picking a burger joint from the endless possibilities presented. Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Plano doesn’t serve your typical burger; they serve gourmet burgers with a twist. If that doesn’t pique your interest, spiked milkshakes are available for consumption for the 21+ crowd.
We came for the burger but stayed for the fries and milkshakes. I ordered the double bacon jam, which comes with two quarter pound beef patties, tomato bacon jam, mustard, green onions, pickles and mayo. However, I was also enticed by the wagyu and ahí tuna burgers, which we’ll have to come back for!
The sides and drinks are just as incredible as the burger. The parmesan truffle fries come in a massive shareable bowl big enough for 3-4 people and are perfectly seasoned. The milkshakes are to die for as well. I tried the double chocolate brownie milkshake, which includes gluten free brownie bites for those with a gluten sensitivity.
Overall, the menu is extensive and requires multiple visits to truly enjoy the multiple burger and drink options.
