I stumbled upon a European bakery while running errands in east McKinney with pretty late hours. It was 5 pm and they were still open so I walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome by the owner’s wife. She was extremely friendly and took the time to walk us though the menu, which consisted of sandwiches and pastries. The Rueben is probably their best seller and if you have a gluten allergy, you can order any sandwich with a lettuce wrap!
For pastries, they had multiple kinds of different baklava, cannolis, sopapillas, croissants and cake! They have about five different gluten free cake options but because it was so late in the day, I was only able to try the Belgian citrus cake, which was incredibly. It wasn’t too sweet and it had a nice consistency to it. We also ordered a croissant which was still perfectly warm and fresh.
