The Spirit Grille

Whether you are looking to enjoy a tasty meal, partake in fun bar activities, or just wanting to catch the next big game, then Sprit Grille has you covered. Conveniently located off MacArthur Boulevard in Irving you will find this large restaurant space with a sports themed menu that is full of delicious options everyone is sure to enjoy.

We checked them out after our original plans feel through and found this spot to be a great fit for what we were needing. They had plenty of tables whether you enjoy a traditional table and hard chairs, booth seats, and even some tabletop chairs at the bar. There is plenty of action at this spot with their multitude of TVs displaying your favorite game days and even Karaoke every Friday and Saturday evening.

Since we came during the weekday, we were able to grab our choice of seating arrangement that worked best for our group size. Our waitress was quick to introduce herself and provided a great background on some of the menu favorites since it was our first time. We also loved that she paid great attention to a food allergy one of our friends had and made sure the items chosen would be safe for them to enjoy. While we waited for our entrees, we enjoyed our drinks and the lively atmosphere this spot had to offer.

After only a short wait, our food was ready to enjoy. Everyone in our group had high praise for what they ordered and felt that the prices were respectful for the large portion sizes that gave us plenty to enjoy both in the restaurant and as leftovers for another meal. I tried their fiesta salad that came served in a crispy tortilla bowl and piled high with blackened chicken that was cooked to perfection on top of mixed greens, pico de gallo, sauteed corn, and avocado. The flavor combination was truly delicious and made for a great lunch option. My friends tried other items such as chicken fried steak, rosemary garlic chicken breast, and chicken tacos that were on special for the day. The atmosphere and the meal made for a great lunch outing and a place we are sure to return to.
