Qargo Coffee

If you need a quick caffeine fix or you’re wanting a place to do remote work, then you need to check out the newly opened Qargo Coffee. Located in Grand Prairie off Lake Ridge Parkway you will find this Italian themed coffee shop serving up delicious beverages and baked goods.

I had seen advertising for this spot and have been anxiously awaiting their opening for months. I couldn’t wait to try them out and after my first visit I can share that it was definitely worth the wait. They offer several shopping options whether you are hoping to grab a drink via their drive through or enjoy their cozy café space with a pastry inside. Their menu is pretty standard for what you can expect with a traditional coffee shop with items for hot or cold beverages. They also have a great grab and go section food items and some specialty picks that are true to Italian culture.

This spot is known for their fast service and I got to witness it first hand on a busy Saturday morning. Even with a short line, the staff was efficient at moving people along while providing great customer service with a smile. On this visit I knew I needed something strong to power me through a long day of errands so I grabbed an iced americano. The espresso shots are brewed with freshly roasted Italian beans and served iced with cool water for a drink that is the perfect mix of bold and refreshing. It was exactly what I needed and extremely affordable as compared to some other local spots.

While I didn’t get to try any food on this visit, the case of freshly baked pastries included both sweet and savory items that had me drooling. They also offer Italian specialty treats such as pistachio cheesecake, affogatos, and torta nocciola that help this place to stand out from their competitors. So whether you need something quick and reliable or looking for something special to enjoy in their relaxing space, I definitely recommend checking this spot out next time you are in the area.
