Luna Grill

If you are a lover of Mediterranean cuisine, then you are going to love the flavors of Luna Grill in Mansfield. Located off Debbie Lane this fast casual concept is perfect if you are looking for a convenient spot to grab a bite or a quick takeout option to enjoy at home. I was recently in the neighborhood running some errands when hunger took over and I knew I needed something filling and hearty. I had driven past Luna Grill before but never stopped by, so I decided to give them a try.

Their parking lot was easy to find a spot, and I felt instantly welcomed when I walked into the restaurant. Since it was my first time I took a few minutes to look over their menu that was filled with a variety of options whether you were looking for a bowl, salad, plated entree, or handheld meal with their classic pitas. There was a lot to choose from a large selection of protein choices making it a great place if you are a meat lover like myself or need something for a vegetarian diet. With so much to choose, it was almost hard to pick something, as everything on their menu sounded quite tasty. Since I knew it was going to be a bit before my next meal, I decided to go with their plated option of their chicken kabob. This meal came with tender pieces of fire grilled chicken breast served with warm pita, a sauce of choice and two sides making it a perfectly balanced option. I was impressed with the amount of food I received and loved that I was able to customize the meal to what I was craving.

For my sides I wanted to try their house salad that came with a tangy light dressing, fresh tomatoes and cucumber and the spicy harissa hummus that I thought would be perfect with the warm pita slices and chicken. For my sauce I thought the garlic feta would be a perfect addition to rounding out my plate. I also decided to add an appetizer of their dolmades which are hand rolled grape leaves stuffed with seasoned rice, onions, and spices and a Mediterranean favorite of mine. Since the food was made to order, it was only a short wait while they prepared everything freshly. The atmosphere of the restaurant was light and airy with comfortable seating both inside the space and on their small patio. Since I was taking my meal to-go the staff made sure to package everything up properly for safe transport and provide me with plenty of silverware and napkins.

I couldn’t wait to get home to dive into my meal as everything smelled and looked amazing. From the first bite I knew I had made the right choice as the chicken was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with my sides and sauces. The stuffed grape leaves were a great compliment to my meal and tasted just as good as some of my favorite Greek restaurants. In addition, to the great service I received and the tasty dishes I loved that Luna Grill has a great rewards program where you can earn points for your purchases and special member only offers making each meal count towards future discounts and rewards. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Luna Grill.
