Fresh Market Coffee

Whether you are looking for a quick breakfast bite or wanting to try out a great local coffee shop, then you need to visit Fresh Market Coffee. Located near downtown Waxahachie off Rogers Street you will find this converted train station turned coffee shop that is open daily from 7am-8pm.

I had never been before but was instantly drawn into this quaint coffee shop. True to their name, they pride themselves on serving everything fresh from the beans they use in their delicious beverages to the fresh baked pastries that are made in house daily. Here you can always expect their staff to be friendly and a menu that offers seasonal items treats you are sure to enjoy.

I loved that this spot offered plenty of seating both inside the cozy cafe and outdoors that are perfect for enjoying the nice weather. Since I wasn’t staying long, I decided to just grab a drink to go. Their menu offered a great variety of both hot and cold beverages and truly something for everyone. Whether you enjoy coffee, tea, or specialty beverages they have you covered with a full flavor profile. Since it was already a hot start to the morning, I opted for an iced americano with their sugar free caramel syrup. They had so many different flavor options, it was almost overwhelming. While the barista got to work on my order, I enjoyed exploring their cafe that offered merchandise, bags of coffee beans, a grab and go section, full pastry case, and even a reading knock that offered complimentary books to share.

The vibe inside was very welcoming and I loved the small town feel that matched the beautiful hospitality of this great town. After a short wait my drink was ready for me to enjoy. My first sip was heavenly, and I loved how the sweet syrup was perfectly combined with the bitter espresso notes. You could tell how fresh the beans were, and I enjoyed that they truly care for their craft.
