Gran’s Antiques

Going to a new antique shop always feels like a treasure hunt to me. Whether I am looking for a specific item or just wanting to explore different wares, there is truly something special about getting to visit a place that offers so many unique items. On a recent trip to Waxahachie, I stopped by Gran’s Antiques and was pleased with the pleasant experience. Located off S Rogers Street this shop is steps away from the downtown city center in the Odd Fellows Building.

Walking inside, we were first greeted by their friendly associate who politely chatted with us and wanted to assist us if we were looking for particular items. On this visit I didn’t have anything in mind and just wanted to browse their selection to see if anything spoke to me. I love getting to upcycle different items to add charm and flare throughout my house and knew I found the perfect spot at Gran’s. Their merchandise ranged from housewares, dining items, clothing, books, and so much more. It felt like every inch of the space was packed with unique items you couldn’t find elsewhere.

While they had a lot to offer, we appreciated how clean the space was, and we found it easy to walk through the different aisles across the store. Everything was also clearly labeled with pricing, and the associate at the front counter was great with answering questions. We were able to pick up a few pieces to take home, and we were even offered some tips on some other local businesses to check out. The friendly hospitality of this place felt so welcoming and the icing on the cake for us that we were able to take home some great items to be displayed in our space. I loved getting to visit Gran’s and look forward to returning to Waxahachie and to shop at this charming establishment.
