After returning from a trip oversees this summer, I was craving authentic Italian ingredients to help prepare some of my favorite dishes at home. While there are several great specialty grocery stores to choose from, a place that I continue to visit is Ari’s Pantry. Located in the North Oak Cliff neighborhood in Dallas you can find this spot off West Davis Street.
The owner Ari, spent over 10 years living and traveling throughout Italy and wanted to bring his love of the country and cuisine back to share with his Dallas community. With the product selection and knowledge from the staff you can tell that this specialty market is a true labor of love. On each visit I feel like I am finding something new to discover and after my recent trip I loved seeing some of the products I used cooking on my trip right here in Dallas. Whether you are looking for espresso beans to create your perfect cappucino or wanting to try you hand at a homemade tomato sauce with italian olive oil and canned tomatoes, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

I loved getting to explore their selection of products and was able to pick up several items that I couldn’t wait to bring home. Italian hospitaltiy truly showed with their staff aswell as the lady working on my recent visit helped to answer some of my questions and gave me great advice on a dish I was looking to recreate. They even included some fresh complimentary herbs with my purchase that truly brought my pasta dish to life. This spot is such a great addition to the neighborhood and I look forward to continuing to shop here for authentic italian products that you can’t find anywhere else!
