This place serves up some of the best catfish and chicken wings in North Texas. Located in the westside corner of Fort Worth, OOOWWWEEE Wangz N Catfish has been serving fried goodness for years.

 The owners, husband and wife team, Matt and Marsha Thompson were working in other industries when they discovered they had a talent that needed to be shared with the masses. Marsha graduated from culinary school and was working as a Software Engineer when she decided to make the right career change. Her husband, Matt was an auto finance manager who was also wanting a change of pace.  Both had been bitten by the food catering business and they were wanting to go back to that love.

Their customers love them for making the choice to return to the food industry. Let’s talk about the items that have people driving to them from miles away. The catfish is fresh, the spices are flavorful. They don’t start cooking until you order so food is fresh and hot. The wings are worth the drive to this place. They are juicy and spiced perfectly. Chicken and waffles were a great combination! I left wanting more. Another item that is extremely popular here, is their kool-aid! Yup, I saw nearly 80% of customers ordering Kool-aid!
