Paris Baguette

‘Tis the season for sweet treats. Whether you are hosting and want to give your guests the perfect dessert or in need of a hostess gift for an upcoming party, you’ll definitely want to stop by Paris Baguette for delicious treats. Located inside Asia Times Square, you can find this bakery off W Pioneer Parkway in Grand Prairie.

Offering plenty of parking it’s a great place to stop for fresh baked goods and pastries. Upon walking inside you will be greeted by the delectable smells of their fresh baked breads, brewed coffee and teas, and magnificent cakes and pastries. I definitely don’t recommend visiting if on a diet, because it will be hard to not leave without a various selection of their goods.

We originally went to pick up a cake to celebrate a friends birthday, but had to grab some of their croissants to try as well. Everything inside their cases and displays looked amazing and it was hard to choose what to try. The Blueberry Chiffon cake we grabbed was not only beautiful, but delicious. It contained 3 layers of the blueberry chiffon, whipped cream filling and blueberry glaze. It was the perfect size to feed our group of 10 and had such great fruit flavor, without feeling too heavy. It was a great treat to enjoy after a special birthday dinner. In addition to the full size cakes they sell, they also offer cake slices if you have a smaller celebration or just looking to try their selection of different desserts. They had so many unique flavors to choose from such as cappuccino and cherry souffle in addition to classic favorites like red velvet and chocolate. You can also find fun seasonal favorites that are perfect for the holidays.

We also enjoyed our tasty croissants that we grabbed in chocolate, almond, and vanilla cream. It was hard to pick a favorite from the bunch, as they all had amazing flavor and perfectly balanced between the toppings and the chewy pastry. They had so many different varieties of pastries and flavor options. It was a great place to visit for fresh and delicious baked goods. They offer something for everyone whether you have a more relaxed or adventurous palette.

I would recommend arriving close to opening as some of their items were already sold out for the day when we went in the afternoon, but you can know that whatever you choose will be something great. If you are not a sweet fan, they also offer savory items such as their salads and gourmet sandwiches that are perfect for lunch on the go or their variety of breads, loafs and rolls that are great for hosting or enjoying at home.
