Bubble tea and mochi donuts have been popular for years, but finding the perfect place to order both is something I was excited to see in my neighborhood. What started in Plano and has now made its way to Arlington, you can find Fat Straws BOBA & Mochi Donuts. With a mission to add fun and exciting flavors to these delicious treats, while giving the ultimate customer service you are going to want to try them out!
Stopping by earlier this week, it was my first experience to this store. I was immediately attracted to their colorful logo and beautiful storefront on Matlock Road. With the warmer weather I was craving a cool drink and decided to stop by and try them out. Upon entering I was greeted by the delicious smell of their donuts and their friendly staff who helped me to explore their menu that featured a variety of smoothies, fruit and milk teas, shakes, coffees and even lattes. They had so many different flavor combinations that it was truly something for everyone.
I knew I wanted something fruity and refreshing, so I picked the Peach Jasmine tea. It was sweet and bright that was perfect for the warm day as an afternoon pick me up. The tea comes as is, but they do offer the addition of boba if you are interested. While I didn’t grab a donut, they looked tasty and came in some fun flavors as well! I was tempted by the Japanese Yuzu Chewy Puff and the Ferrero Rocher that would be great weather you are crazing sweet or savory.
The experience was amazing from the tasty drink to their wonderful staff. I look forward to heading back soon to try some other items on their menu!
