Maggianos

Whether you need a great place to celebrate or just looking for a delicious place for dinner, the Maggiano’s should be a restaurant on your list. Located in Plano near the Shops at Willow Bend on Parker Boulevard this location is the perfect destination to stop by for a bite after shopping in the area.

It was easy to grab a table for lunch during the week day and we loved the fast and courteous service we received throughout our experience. While we had all been before, I loved looking over their menu to see both new and old favorites. To start off our meal we grabbed the zucchini fritte that was perfectly fried and served with a zesty lemon aioli and grilled lemon to be served on top.

In addition to the appetizer split amongst the group I grabbed the Maggiano’s salad for my main dish that came pilled high with smoked bacon, avocado, red onion, blue cheese and a creamy house dressing. The flavors of the salad melded beautifully with the crispy lettuce and was the perfect size for lunch. My friend enjoyed their chicken piccata that can with thinly sliced large chicken breasts and a sauce of capers, spinach, lemon and butter. She let me try a bite and it was truly delectable and tasted great with the large potion of spaghetti aglio olio. The portions were so large we both had enough to take home with us.

Since we were celebrating a birthday, the staff helped to make our experience special by singing to my friend and bringing out a complimentary dessert of their lemon cookies topped with some candles. Everything they served was absolutely delicious and the icing on the cake(or should I say birthday cookies), was the wonderful service we had. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a thoughtful restaurant to celebrate or for great food when craving Italian.
