If you are hoping to give back to your community and be more environmentally conscious in the new year, shopping at thrift and resale stores may be a great option for you! That’s why I am so happy to have a great option in my neighborhood. Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store. Located close to downtown Mansfield on Broad Street, this spot is clean, organized, and makes you feel like you are shopping for treasure.
The store is clearly laid out by item type whether you are looking for a new outfit or wanting some items to spruce up your space. Their gently used items are sure to excite you whatever you are looking or not looking for. I loved how nice the space felt and didn’t have any musty or old smell, like some thrift centers are known for.
The prices for the items felt like they were great deals for the condition and selection of their merchandise. The best part of visiting here is that you can visit often as there is always something new to discover and donations arriving daily. If you are hoping to not shop, but give back they would be happy to accept your gently used items or have you as a volunteer to help sort items. You could tell how lovely each volunteer was, but their exceptional service and friendly attitude.
Shopping here made me feel great that I was giving back to my community and I look forward to sharing their mission with others. I loved visiting the store and later the website to learn more about all the different programs they have for volunteering and supporting the local community.
