Grocery store prices have been a hot topic these past few years without any sign of slowing down. Finding a place that not only offers affordable options, but great quality is a must for those looking to save some money. That’s why I am so happy I found Town Talk Foods. Located in Arlington off Collins Street, this discount supermarket is offering tons of merchandise for those looking for a great bargain.
The store is set up like a large warehouse and is clearly laid out by item type like a traditional grocery store. Whether you are hoping for fresh produce, frozen foods, canned goods or even household items, this spot has you covered for everything on your list. The best part of the experience is definitely the pricing that is such a bargain compared to your traditional big box stores. Though the prices are lower, you can still find some of the same brands you know and love. The catch to the pricing though is that I found several of the items were outside of the expiration date for frozen and shelf stable items. While all of the fresh produce seemed to be in great shape.
It was such a fun experience visiting here for the first time and I loved getting to walk through the aisles to see the different brands they carry. They even pride themselves as being a “treasure hunt” for customers offering a wide variety of multicultural foods at discounted prices. They are able to keep their prices so low as they buy products from large retailors that are overstocked, seasonal, damaged, or almost to their sell date. This is a great place that offers something new to the community and a place I would recommend checking out when you are in the area.
