LUNA coffee

If you find yourself in Grand Prairie in need of a caffeine fix, then you need to check out LUNA Coffee. Located off Pioneer Parkway, it can be easy to overlook this special spot located in a strip mall. After the first sip of your drink though you’ll be happy you found this place.

When shopping in the area and in need of a pick-me-up, I went to google to find the closest place that I could grab a coffee. LUNA was the first hit and had excellent reviews so I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I found this local spot that is about to be a new favorite of mine. The café is extremely cozy and had a great menu offering handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks. Since I was in the mood for something sweet, the friendly barista suggested a crow favorite of their Mexican Mocha. For the hot day I went with this drink iced and it came with espresso, cinnamon, almond milk, and a chocolate foam topper that was the perfect mix of creamy and delicious flavor.

While I wasn’t in the mood for food, the bakery items in the case all looked great and would be something I hope to try on my next visit. Since this was a small location I was extremely impressed with the attention to detail and the fast service for receiving my drink. This location also makes a cozy spot to enjoy the café if you’re looking for a quiet space to relax, read, or even get some work done with their complimentary wifi. I loved the solar inspired aesthetic and the friendly atmosphere and know that this will be a place I visit time and time again.
