Cotton Patch Cafe

Comfort food comes in all shapes and sizes depending on your pallet, but a favorite place for my family has always been Cotton Patch Café. Located almost dead center in the Metroplex, in Arlington off Interstate 20 this restaurant is serving up some of the best southwest delights for lunch and dinner.

On our most recent visit, we were here to celebrate a friend for their birthday. The staff onsite were very friendly and extremely accommodating for our larger group size. We came during the busy lunch rush, but were able to get seated quickly after only a shot wait. This location was very clean and we enjoyed the bright and lively dinning room that offered plenty of seating whether you prefer sitting at the bar or enjoying a table or booth in the dining room.

After checking out the menu we put in our orders and I decided on a cobb salad topped with fresh grilled chicken, juicy tomatoes, crispy bacon, creamy avocado slices, hard boiled eggs, fresh cheese, and crispy romaine. The salad was very hearty and had me filled up for the day. I loved that it came with my choice of dressing on the side and that I was able to enjoy all the delicious toppings without it feeling overly heavy. My friends enjoyed their grilled crispy tenders that came with fresh and hot fries and tasty green beans. With all of our meals we enjoyed their delicious homestyle rolls that were served with creamy butter.

We were all extremely impressed with their generous portion sizes that has us feeling full and even enough to take home for leftovers. I felt their pricing was fair and would even recommend coming to visit for their daily value meals that are a bargain for any restaurant standards. As with every visit, we loved the experience and looking forward to returning again soon to enjoy their delicious menu items.
