When money is tight, finding a thrift store is a great way to explore gently used items at a great price. Recently when in Fort Worth I came across Family Thrift Outlet and loved getting to walk through the ample racks of clothing and discover some “new items” for my closet. Located off Ephriham Avenue, this spot is close to major highways and a fun spot to shop.
Open daily this thrift store is the perfect place to visit during the week or on the weekends. I came on a Friday and was surprised to see how busy this spot was during the week. They offer deals every day of the week, but Wednesday seemed to be the best if you are looking to score extra savings. The store is quite large, but easy to navigate as the aisles and sections of the store are clearly labeled by item type and gender. While the store is large and there is plenty of merchandise, the aisles are a little tight and sometimes hard to get by if there are multiple people. I was able to find several things that not only fit my personal style, but also were in my budget. I love this ecofriendly way of shopping and would recommend this location to anyone in the area.
I was surprised that I found not only used items that were in great condition, but also several pieces that still had the tags on them. I also saw some brands that were new to me, but also popular name brand items that I know and love. It was a great shopping experience overall and I look forward to returning again soon to discover some new treasures at this thrift store.
